New iPhone 12 release date, price, specs, and leaks

We're very close to finally getting to see the new iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro models from Apple. And these phones promise to feature some of the biggest changes to the iPhone lineup in a long time.

With Apple’s mysterious launch strategy grabbing the attention of users worldwide, the tech giant has now hinted at no power adapters or EarPods in the box, whereas, minor code tweak in iOS 14.2 seemingly confirms Apple's plan to sell the new devices without EarPods.

According to an article published in Mac Rumour, in iOS 14 and earlier versions of iOS, there's a mention of reducing exposure to RF energy by using the "supplied headphones," which is the same wording that Apple has used for years now.

However, the wording in iOS 14.2 has been tweaked to say just "headphones," removing the "supplied" part of this statement. The full code reads as follows: “To reduce exposure to RF energy, use a hands-free option, such as the built-in speakerphone, headphones, or other similar accessories.”

During a call to Apple's earnings in July, Chief Financial Officer Luca Masteri noted that last year's iPhone 11 was shipped in September, but added that "this year, the supply of new products is something more than that." It will be weeks later. " With only a handful of days left in September, we're looking forward to the beginning of October for the phone, says John Prosser. The processor also claims that both iPhone 12 Pro models will arrive in November, so it will be a surprise launch.

The latest thing we have heard is that the release date of the iPhone 12 may be October 23. This is based on a leak of the date of the iPhone 12 launch event, which is reportedly on October 13.

iPhone 12 pre-orders would start October 16 based on this timetable. AppleInsider is the source of this rumor.
